On August 18th 2018, we, or what we call the Cup’d Up Crew, Mike, Dave, Tori (Dave’s wife) and Kirstie (Mike’s girlfriend) thought of the concept for Cup’d Up Co. Over many Coors Banquet’s and a couple cigars, Cup'd Up Co. became not just a vision but a tangible reality that transformed into where we are today.

We are founded by a group of young and extremely ambitious individuals with a proven track record of becoming experts in waterfowl hunting. Cup’d Up Co. has been pioneering and advocating our passion for turning waterfowl hunting into a lifestyle company.

With the expertise of our core team, we focus on providing premium merchandise that ensures that you are cup’d up and geared up for hunting season. Together, our core value is connecting with an audience that is dedicated to the love of waterfowl.

Join the Cup’d Up Crew to share our passion together. We appreciate the support. Let's get cup’d & committed!

Since joining the military in 2009 I developed a passion for shooting and the outdoors, it was not until I moved to Colorado in 2014 that I got obsessed with the idea of hunting. I started with countless hours of research on rules and regulations and I read every forum I could about big game, small game, and waterfowl hunting. It wasn’t until over a year later I got the pleasure of freezing my ass off in duck blind for the first time and I was hooked.

While pursuing my career as a Police Officer, I met Mike in the Academy. Mike shared his knowledge and passion for the outdoors and hunting. We became great friends over the countless trips fly fishing and eventually discovering all that Colorado has to offer for hunting. During hunting season, any moment I was not working I was out in a blind. My wife, and better half, likes to joke that I am married to Mike during hunting season. The day waterfowl hunting ends for the year, I am already planning for the upcoming year. Putting in even more hours of time researching waterfowl hunting and spending money on way too much new gear.

Thankfully with the help of the Cup’d Up Crew, I can channel my passion for waterfowl hunting and turn it into a local business. Now every morning I get to tell my wife, it’s a business trip, not a hunting trip.

I was born and raised in northern California and didn’t get into hunting until later in life. Hunting was always something I was interested in, but just never had the time because of baseball. I attended the University of Nevada, Reno (Go Pack!) on a baseball scholarship. I was lucky enough to get drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 24th round of the 2012 draft. I played two years with the Brewers and got released in 2014.

During my first offseason with the Brewer’s my friend, who always tried to get me to hunt in high school, finally talked me into getting my hunting license. My friend owns 70,000 acres of farmland in northern California. Every year his family floods the rice fields for hunting season, needless to say, waterfowl hunting is ideal. I was spoiled getting to hunt private land and instantly fell in love with waterfowl hunting. The first time I ever hunted that land was in the middle of a hot October day which made for terrible hunting conditions. We shot one bird, but I was absolutely hooked. From that point forward I hunted every single day I could with my friend and learned just about everything I know from him.

When I made the decision to move to Colorado I felt lost when it came to waterfowl hunting, I didn’t know where to start. Luckily I met Dave and passed along the waterfowl obsession to him. Over the years we’ve figured out Colorado hunting and how to be successful. It’s now become a lifestyle just like our slogan states.

Since coming up with the idea for Cup’d Up Co not a day has gone by that I’m not working hard to make our company better than all the rest. I believe in quality and unique apparel. We will not disappoint our customers, and I believe all our founders have the same mindset.
